PhDr. Adam Paták
PhDr. Adam Paták combines academic education, extensive psychotherapy training, and experience in both clinical and corporate settings. He studied psychology at Charles University, where he also earned his PhDr. degree. He is a participant of the Comprehensive Psychotherapy Training ViaSUR, which has prepared him for individual, couple, group, and community work, as well as for working with adolescents.
His medical practice – for example in the women’s acute admission ward at the Psychiatric Hospital in Horní Beřkovice – provided him with deep experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and work within a multidisciplinary team.
He is a participant of the Comprehensive Psychotherapy Training ViaSUR (1,515 hours), accredited by the Czech Psychotherapy Association and the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education (IPVZ). This training has prepared him for individual, couple, group, and community work, as well as working with adolescents. He is also a graduate of a postgraduate program in traffic psychology, holds a qualification in psychodynamic coaching (accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic), and has completed training in motivational interviewing (accredited by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs).
Thanks to his experience in the corporate environment, including work at Škoda Auto a.s., he is able to combine working with individual clients with consulting in HR, employee development, and mental health support.
In his work, he is guided by the conviction that caring for the mind is just as important as caring for the body – whether it concerns crisis management, support in challenging life periods, or personal growth.
