MUDr. Zuzana Hladíková, Ph.D.

She graduated in general medicine at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague and subsequently completed specialization training in diabetology and endocrinology at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University.

Since 2017, she has been working at the IKEM Diabetes Center, where she cares for patients with diabetes and complex hormonal disorders. She also works as a research scientist at the Islets of Langerhans Laboratory and has been involved in the issue of insulin-producing tissue transplantation for a long time. In 2025, she successfully passed the certification in diabetology and endocrinology.

She is the author and co-author of a number of professional publications in Czech and international professional journals and the main investigator of a grant project focused on improving islet transplantation. She actively speaks at professional conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad, where she discusses modern technologies in the treatment of diabetes, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pumps and the future of transplantation medicine.

In addition to her professional and research work, MUDr. Hladíková has long been dedicated to educating patients and healthcare professionals - she lectures, leads workshops and webinars and actively participates in the education of people with diabetes.

In her clinical practice, she emphasizes an individual approach, clear communication and the use of modern diagnostic and treatment procedures that help patients better understand their disease and improve their quality of life in the long term.
