MUDr. Jan Burian, MBA
MUDr. Jan Burian, MBA, is an ENT specialist and certified somnologist with experience from the University Hospital in Motol as well as accredited sleep laboratories. He focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders, sleep surgery, neck ultrasound, and comprehensive ENT care. Thanks to his many years of practice and teaching activities, he is able to offer patients not only professional treatment but also a clear and empathetic approach.
MUDr. Jan Burian, MBA, has long specialized in otorhinolaryngology and sleep medicine. Since 2015, he worked at the Department of ENT at the University Hospital in Motol, where he gained extensive clinical and surgical experience. Later, he focused primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders and became the head physician of a sleep laboratory.
He contributed to the accreditation of the sleep laboratory and was also active in teaching – educating medical students and training junior colleagues. He further expanded his practice at the Rudolf and Stefanie Hospital in Benešov and now works as an outpatient specialist, focusing on ENT examinations, neck ultrasound, diagnosis of sleep disorders, and sleep surgery.
In 2020, he obtained board certification in ENT and head and neck surgery, and in 2024, he earned certification in somnology.
He approaches patients individually and explains treatment options in a clear and understandable way. He speaks Czech and advanced English (C1).
