Hair plasma therapy

Hair plasma therapy (PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma) is a modern method of treating hair loss and strengthening the scalp. It uses the patient's own blood plasma enriched with growth factors that stimulate hair follicles, promote new hair growth, and improve the quality of existing hair. At the Vasmedic clinic, we perform plasma therapy as a gentle and effective solution for men and women suffering from thinning hair.

What is hair plasma therapy?

It is a natural regenerative treatment that uses the patient's own blood. Centrifugation is used to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the blood. This is applied to the scalp in small injections, where it triggers healing and regeneration processes.

How does PRP affect hair?

  • it stimulates dormant hair follicles,
  • extends the hair growth phase,
  • improves blood circulation in the scalp,
  • strengthens hair fibers,
  • thickens and strengthens the hair, and slows down excessive hair loss.

Who is plasma therapy suitable for?

  • women and men with androgenic alopecia,
  • those experiencing hair thinning due to hormonal or genetic reasons,
  • as a growth aid after pregnancy or illness,
  • after hair transplantation for faster regeneration,
  • those experiencing hair weakening due to stress or aging.

How is the treatment performed at the Vasmedic clinic?

  1. A small amount of blood is taken from the arm.
  2. Special centrifugation is used to obtain platelet-rich plasma.
  3. PRP is injected into the scalp using thin needles.
  4. The entire procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes and is well tolerated.

For optimal results, a series of 3–6 treatments over several weeks is recommended.

Advantages of hair plasma therapy

  • 100% natural method – uses the patient's own blood,
  • no risk of allergy or infection transmission,
  • minimally painful procedure,
  • no work incapacity,
  • long-term effect with regular treatment.

How are the active ingredients applied to the scalp?

  1. Consultation and preparation
First, a consultation with a doctor or trichologist takes place, who assesses the condition of the scalp and recommends the most suitable product (e.g., a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polynucleotides, or PRP plasma).
  2. Numbing
The application is usually well tolerated because very thin needles are used. For greater comfort, a numbing spray can also be applied.
  3. Aplication to the skin
The active ingredients are applied with a series of tiny microinjections directly into the scalp – into the area where the hair follicles are located. This allows them to work directly where they are needed and stimulate hair growth.
  4. After the procedure
The entire treatment takes approximately 20-40 minutes. Immediately after application, the skin may be slightly red or sensitive, but normal activities can be resumed immediately. It is recommended to avoid excessive sweating and washing your hair on the first day after the procedure.
  5. ResultsImprovements in hair quality and reduced hair loss are usually noticeable after a few weeks.
For best results, a series of 3–6 treatments at 2–4 week intervals is recommended, followed by maintenance therapy 1–2 times a year.
