What does a comprehensive internal examination at Vasmedic include?

A comprehensive internal examination is an important step in the prevention and early diagnosis of diseases. It allows you to uncover hidden risks and gain an overview of your overall health. At Vasmedic, we emphasize a detailed approach and modern diagnostic methods.

1. Initial medical history and consultation with an internist
At the beginning, there is a detailed interview with a doctor, during which we evaluate your personal and family medical history, lifestyle and current health problems. The internist will discuss all symptoms and examination goals with you so that the examination is maximally tailored to your needs.

2. Clinical examination
This includes a physical examination, which includes looking, feeling, listening and tapping. The doctor will check your heart, lungs, respiratory and circulatory systems and thus get a basic idea of your health.

3. Basic laboratory examination
Blood and urine collection provides valuable information about the functioning of the liver, kidneys, blood count, sugar and cholesterol levels. Laboratory results will help to detect diabetes, high cholesterol or hidden inflammations in time.

4. ECG examination
Electrocardiography (ECG) will reveal heart rhythm disorders, ischemic changes or other heart problems that could be a risk in the future.

5. Measurement of blood pressure and blood sugar levels
Thanks to these examinations, hypertension (high blood pressure) or prediabetes and diabetes, which can occur without symptoms for a long time, can be detected early.
